Kickstart your career in regional South Australia

Join the mailing list by submitting your expression of interest below to find out more about StudyAdelaide Regional Careers Tours.

Across South Australia, regional communities are looking for people to fill job vacancies in a variety of industries. 

StudyAdelaide is pleased to partner with organisations like Regional Development Australia (RDA), local councils, and government departments on projects to connect international students and graduates with employers in the regions.

This includes low-cost field tours to regional areas.

About Regional Careers Tours

These projects aim to provide students and recent graduates with the opportunity to:

  • Understand regional work opportunities
  • Meet potential employers
  • Meet members of the local and multicultural communities
  • Take part in site visits at local organisations
  • Tour the city/towns and find out more about the region and its lifestyle

If you would like the opportunity to be considered for these tours or other events to find out more about the career and job opportunities available in the regions of South Australia, please register your interest.

Further details will be emailed to eligible students once each event is confirmed. To be eligible, your studies and/or career outcomes must be relevant to the industries in focus for each event.

Upcoming Tours

Murraylands Regional Careers Tour

Join us on the 30th of July 2025 for a day trip to explore career opportunities in the Murraylands region, including the city of Murray Bridge. This one-day tour is open to 50 final-year international students and recent graduates in the fields of teaching (early childhood, primary, and secondary), nursing (ENs and RNs), allied health (occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, and more ), aged care/individual support, project management, and engineering.


Tour Details:

Date: Wednesday, 30 July 2025

Time: From 7:00am to 7:00pm

Registration fee: Students who are selected will need to pay a $30 deposit to confirm their participation on the tour. Students who attend the tour will get $20 back after the tour as a token of our gratitude for your attendance and reliability.


Transport, refreshments, and lunch are included.


Registrations of interest will close on Tuesday, 1 July. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, 4 July with a payment link to secure their spot. 


Note that selected students will need to attend a compulsory Job Ready workshop on Monday, 21 July, 4:00pm-6:00pm. 



Riverland Regional Careers Tour

Join us on the 2-3 September 2025 for a two-day trip to explore career opportunities in the Riverland region, including the town of Berri. This two-day/one-night tour is open to 50 final-year international students and recent graduates in the fields of teaching (early childhood, primary, and secondary), health & care (ENs and RNs, occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, dietetics, psychology, aged care/individual support, and more) project management, and engineering.


Tour Details:

Date: From Tuesday, 2 September to Wednesday, 3 September

Time: From 7:00am on Tuesday to 7:00pm on Wednesday

Registration fee: Students who are selected will need to pay a $40 deposit to confirm their participation on the tour. Students who attend the tour will get $25 back after the tour as a token of our gratitude for your attendance and reliability.


Accommodation, transport, and most meals are included.


Registrations of interest will close on Tuesday, 29 July. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, 1 August with a payment link to secure their spot. 


Note that selected students will need to attend a compulsory Job Ready workshop on Monday, 25 August, 4:00pm-6:00pm.
