Entry Requirements

Applicants must normally hold an approved health-related bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.

Applicants for the masters must also have at least two years’ experience in palliative care, aged care or in a related field.

English language requirements

IELTS (Academic): 6.0 Overall with 6.0 Speaking, 6.0 Writing; TOEFL (Internet): 72 Overall with 18 Speaking, 18 Writing; Pearson PTE Academic: 50 Overall with 50 Speaking, 50 Writing; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): B2

Course Details

The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) postgraduate program is aimed at developing understanding and skills in the area of TESOL. The courses are also designed to help you develop disciplinary knowledge in the area of second language acquisition, as well as specific knowledge in the area of teaching English to speakers of other languages. The combination of theoretical knowledge and teaching methodology is designed to equip you with tools for classroom practice as a prospective TESOL practitioner. The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages courses allow you to study on campus, via online mode, or a combination of the two.
