Course Details

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Business and Information Systems) produces IT professionals ready to manage and innovate in any challenging business IT environment. Graduates of this degree will be well placed to act as the bridge between the business needs of an organisation and the computing professionals required to provide the technical solutions.

The course provides education in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of information technology and enterprise systems management, preparing graduates for roles such as business analyst, ICT project manager or consultant.

The course offers national best practice work experience and job placement, preparing you for the needs of the South Australian, Australian and international technology industry and public service sectors.

This new degree has been designed to be similarly accredited. Professional ICT courses accredited by the Australian Computer Society are recognised internationally under the Seoul Accord. Graduates meet the academic requirements for attaining chartered status as ICT professionals.
