A current and valid National Police Check (dated within 12 months) is a mandatory requirement for this course. All applicants are advised that they will be required to produce an acceptable NPC on or prior to commencement of the course.

You will also need to sign a declaration stating that you are physically fit to carry out the duties of a Care Worker.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 5.5 Academic (min 5.0 in any band). Some programs require a score of 6.0 (overall band score) or higher; TOEFL (IBT): 60 (with Reading and Writing not less than 18); Cambridge English (CAE & CPE): 169 (with no band below 162); PTE (Pearson Test of English): 50 (with Reading and Writing communicative scores not below 50); High School: Successful completion of the last 2 years of high/ secondary school, where the language of instruction was English; Malaysian SPM 1119 English: A –; OET (Occupational English Test): Pass C, D.

Successful completion of the Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33015 qualifies graduates to work as Personal Care Workers in the Community Services and Residential Aged Care Sector. This qualification offers an entry pathway into the Diploma of Nursing HLT54115 and Diploma of Community Services CHC52015 courses.
Industry Experience
This course includes 240 hours of industry placement in an approved aged care (or equivalent) facility setting. The placement is included as part of the course duration.
Please note that industry placement is a compulsory part of this course. Placement offers are subject to supply and may affect course duration.
