Course Details

Study a Diploma in Health at Flinders University Academy, you will gain direct entry into year 2 of a variety of Flinders health degrees. You'll study in the heart of our Bedford Park campus and be a Flinders student from day one, and benefit from all the support and campus activities available.

Working in small groups with dedicated educators, our program ensures you will learn specialist knowledge to influence the future of health in one of Australia’s fasted growing industries. You can complete the first year of a Flinders Health degree in a learning environment that is tailored to your unique learning needs – and be ready to step into your career in 3 years.

What you will learn

Working in small groups with dedicated educators you will be exposed to English, Numeracy and Study Skills while learning specialist knowledge that will launch you into your destination degree. Learning will be collaborative and engaging using the latest transition pedagogy techniques.

Students in the Flinders University Academy will be supported to develop their emerging identity in an Australian context. They will also work closely with students enrolled across the Academy to explore common areas of study and to facilitate transition to the Australian university environment.
